Anyone who joins the CMSGMA becomes a full member and is welcome to attend the meetings and become an active part of organizing our show.
It is the active members, a relatively small group of people, who organize the Yankee Engine-uity Show at the Orange Airport. This show is held every year on the last full weekend of June.
We generally attract between 400 and 500 exhibitors and a large Flea Market. If it's not the largest show in New England, it's certainly the BEST show in New England! Our show is free to the public (there is a $2 donation to the organization that supervises our parking). In order to exhibit at our show you must be a member. The dues are $10 a year, or $15 for a family membership! (Includes wife/girlfriend and kids under 14) There is a newsletter sent out to all members at least three times a year.
Our official prescheduled meetings are in Orange, MA. (Event Calendar) There is also an annual banquet, usually in November.We don't specialize in anything. There are members who collect one lungers, tractors, steam engines, toys, farm implements, tools, hog oilers, barbed wire, pumps... anything old and mechanical will do!
The organization is not a big commercial venture; it's just part of our hobby. It costs thousands of dollars to put on the show each year, and one of our major concerns is raising the money. It comes from members dues, donations from the public, the sponsorship of local merchants and a little donating from anyone who sells things at our show, especially the non-profit church groups that run the food concessions. It all comes together, and it WORKS!

You can also join at the Yankee Engine-uity Show in June. THAT is when the dues are actually "due".
